kit IMHO. The rotors are way thicker, there is much less potential for fade (.2" thicker than ST) and the calipers have an extra set of proportional pistons on each side, there is no question the AP is a more powerful kit for more $$$. The pedal effort is not increased, when I drove it, the pedal feel was stock with more stopping power. I havent driven a stoptech kit, but they seem like a nice compromise brake kit, hence my interest. I would be interested in getting the 14" kit they make for the skyline and 350 for my TT. However, except for Scott Performance, everyone thinks the Z's rear brake setup still remains too powerful, some notable characters: Mike Kojima, Glenn, Lee, Carl, a few others with impressive credentials. Our stock rear setup (with good pads) is powerful enough IMHO but I guess everyone has an opinion. When you are braking, with a good system, optimal brake balance has the front more biased anyway, you need to transfer weight. It would be counter-productive if the rear was doing the same level of stopping work.
